The Wisley Series of greenhouses are made from Western Red Cedar, which is a stable and long-lasting wood often used in harsh climates where strength is a necessity. When red cedar absorbs moisture, its naturally occurring preservatives are triggered and the moisture is quickly released into the air, helping to give red cedar its longevity. All red cedar used in these greenhouses is sourced from certified or sustainable forests.
The Wisley greenhouses are covered in tempered safety glass and weather protected with powder-coated aluminum features. The aluminum gutters and downspouts are designed for easy compatibility with rain barrels and water tanks. The cedar roof is safeguarded by hand-turned cedar caps and neoprene gaskets, while its steep 45° pitch helps prevent snow accumulation. An automated, heat-sensitive ventilation system runs the full length of the greenhouse, optimizing airflow by releasing heat at the ideal point. The full-length ridge ventilation operates with automatic openers, using wax-filled pistons that respond to climatic conditions, ensuring proper ventilation even when you’re away.
Each greenhouse sits on its own aluminum plinth, which raises the greenhouse off the ground and provides a stronger fixing point for the foundation.

If an order is placed for a product listed as backordered, we process your payment at the time the order is submitted. This allows us to better manage fulfillment timelines and avoid delays that could occur due to expired or inaccurate payment information. If you placed a backorder and did not intend to do so, you have a few options. You may review comparable products on our site and place a new order instead.
